There are several ways to purchase Elvila furniture. The traditional way is to visit, study, compare, choose and purchase a product in one of the Elvila stores. As we try to facilitate your decision-making process for all furniture purchases, you can now order your favorite furniture online. You will save time by having online access to an ample range of product information and the possibility to compare and filter the Elvila products using price, promotions and product category variables. Choose the comfort and tranquility of using your personal computer at your own pace, and order online Elvila quality products.
For upholstery products:
1. Most upholstery products: corner pieces, sofas, armchairs and stools, can be ordered with any of the materials and colors listed in the Range of Trim Materials, as well as with other materials available in stores.
2. Delivery time may vary, depending on the in-stock availability of the material/color/size configuration of your choice. The product price is incremented depending on the material chosen, as follows: Cloth Fabric 1, Cloth Fabric 2, Ecological Leather, Cloth Fabric 4, Cloth Fabric 5, Cloth Fabric 6, Leather Fabric 1, Leather Fabric 2, Leather Fabric 3.
3. To decide upon the material and desired color for an upholstery product, please visit the nearest Elvila store. A sales representative will present you all available materials and colors and will offer a delivery time and price quotation for the material/color configuration of your choice.
4. If you want to order a product online and you have already decided upon a material/color configuration, please mention your preference in the "Other Mentions" field of the "Shopping cart” ordering form. A sales representative will provide you with details on the in-stock availability, delivery time and price.
Online ordering procedure
THE SHOPPING CART
Browse the site and select the products of your choice; add them to the Shopping Cart by clicking on the Add to Cart button of the respective product. Add as many products as you like by following the same procedure. Should you need several items of the same product, specify the desired number in the quantity field and click on the Update Cart button. To remove a product from your Shopping Cart, specify the “0” value in the quantity field, then click on the Update Cart button. If you exit the Elvila website, when you return you will find the Shopping Cart still holding the previously chosen products.
HOW TO ORDER?
1. To issue an order, you need an active account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can still add products to the Shopping Cart; you will be asked to set up an account when you decide to issue the order. You can sign up for an account by clicking on the Continue button in the MY ACCOUNT section. A message will be sent, immediately after signing up, to the e-mail address you provided, so as to verify the signing up.
2. After the verification, specify the desired delivery address for the products in your Shopping Cart (you can either choose one of the existing addresses or create a new address), choose the desired payment and delivery methods, and then click on the Send button.
3. You will receive an e-mail message confirming your order and specifying the order identification number. Please check the accuracy of the order by visualizing the e-mail message. Should there be any inconsistencies, you can cancel the order by accessing your account; alternatively, you can send a message requesting the cancellation to comenzi@elvila.ro.
HOW TO MODIFY OR CANCEL THE ORDER?
If you change your mind before clicking the Send button on your order, simply clear out your Shopping Cart of all the no longer wanted products, or modify the delivery/payment details.
If you have already issued the order, you can modify the products and quantities, or cancel the order (only if the products haven’t already been shipped), by sending an e-mail to comenzi@elvila.ro.
When ordering online, fill the Shopping Cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button in the presentation page of each product. After adding all desired products to the cart, send your order to Elvila. The cart contents will be displayed for verification/confirmation and you will be asked for your invoicing information. After issuing the order, you will receive an automated confirmation e-mail. The order will be sent to your local Elvila store or to the Elvila location nearest to you. You will receive a phone call from an Elvila representative and will be informed of all details pertaining to the in-stock availability, execution term (for custom furniture), payment options, transportation and assembly.
The order becomes firm and valid after an advance payment of at least 30% of the total order value (VAT included). Should the order be cancelled, the advance payment will not be refunded. When issuing the order, the customer will have been completely, accurately and precisely informed on the essential features of the Elvila products and services, so as to have the basis for an informed decision, consistent with the customer’s needs; the products and services are fit for use, according to their respective destinations, as follows:
1. Product name – name and/or manufacturer brand; product’s capacity to be adequate for its purpose; warranty, average lifespan of the product (for furniture, chairs and sofas with cloth upholstery, the average lifespan is 5 years, while leather sofas have a 10 year lifespan); main technical and qualitative features (form the product’s Specifications Chart); product’s composition (fixed, detachable); composing elements; dimensions; main materials used, finishes, accessories, packaging; possible foreseeable hazards; installation/assembly directions, user’s, manipulation, storage and preservation instructions; counter indications, according to Art. 18 and Art. 20 of the 21/1992 G.R., republished, with the subsequent amendments and updates, Art.1, point 7 of Law 476/2006 and Art. XI, point 7, of Law 363/2007.
2. Product’s final price, transportation and assembly fees which are to be covered by the customer, including the value-added tax, and the fulfillment term for the customer’s order (according to Law 296/2004, republished).
Yes. Upon the customer’s request, Elvila provides home delivery and professional assembly services, for a charge. The home delivery will be scheduled depending on the Elvila delivery schedule, after the full payment of the order price. An Elvila sales representative from your local Elvila store or from the Elvila location nearest to you will inform you of the precise fee for the above services, following the issuing of a firm order. We recommend purchasing the desired products from the Elvila store nearest to the desired delivery location.
Yes, the products purchased in the Elvila stores come with a 2-year warranty. The warranty period starts with the date the customer signs the products delivery note. The warranty period is extended with the repair durations for the respective item. For full details please consult the warranty terms and conditions. The Elvila products comply with all the provisions of the regulating technical documents in force in Romania. The customer acknowledges that products using natural materials, such as: leather, solid wood, solid wood veneer, cannot be made identical in terms of texture and color tones on various surfaces, as well as of visible particularities of the material. These features will not be considered when determining a faulty product. Should any defects occur, the customer will have the right to submit a complaint. All complaints must be submitted at the Elvila store where the product was purchased, during the validity period of the warranty certificate, accompanied by the respective invoice and warranty certificate. Elvila undertakes to mend the defective products, during the warranty period, within 15 days from the complaint registration date, according to the provisions of Law 499/2003 and G. R. 21/1992, with their subsequent amendments and updates. The Elvila service department will decide upon the solution to be applied to each complaint.

Warranty terms and conditions:
1. The warranty stands for a two year term, starting with the date the customer signs the product delivery note. The warranty period is extended with the repair durations for the respective item.
2. Should there be any replacement of items or product elements, the warranty period will not be extended. Should a product be replaced with a new product, it will benefit from the full warranty period associated with the purchase of a new product.
3. The warranty covers:
- product repair or replacement with no additional charges for the customer;
- adequate price discount or agreement termination, according to the provisions of the law.
4. The warranty is offered for items commonly used in common conditions, for the purpose they have been designed, while taking into account the common use, reasonable tear and wear over time. The products are deemed to be destined for common use, while complying with the usage conditions, in 50-70% air humidity, respectively 10-30 degrees Celsius ranges.
5. The average lifespan for cloth trim furniture, chairs, and sofas is 5 years, while leather sofas have a 10 year lifespan.
6. The reasonable polyurethane settling, leather/cover material stretching, material tarnishing or polishing in time, following common use, are deemed acceptable and will not be considered flaws.
Excepting the circumstances provided in the regulations in force, the purchased and invoiced products cannot be replaced or returned.
The customer’s order is forwarded to the factory at the end of the day it has been registered; therefore, no modifications are possible after the registration date.
The pro-forma invoices for credit-system purchases, as well as pro-forma invoices to be paid by means of a money order, are valid for no more than 5 days after being issued. For purchases by means of the credit-system, the order becomes firm on the date the loan application is accepted, and the execution term is computed starting with this date.
The pro-forma invoices for in-stock items for which the advance payment has been made are valid for a period of 7 days. Should the customer decide not to purchase the items, the advance payment will not be refunded. Should an order not be picked-up within 7 days of the customer being notified about its arrival, the customer will pay for storage services, in amount of 5 lei/furniture set/day.
The seller will not be held accountable for any force majeure situation preventing or delaying, in whole or in part, the delivery of the ordered items. This exoneration will only apply for the duration of the force majeure situation.
By signing the invoice, pro-forma invoice or order form, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all the above/mentioned terms and conditions.
At the customer’s request, Elvila can provide professional assembly services, for a charge. Elvila takes no responsibility for not completing the assembly at the customer’s location, if caused by reasons out of Elvila’s reach, such as, without limitation to: space-related problems (small building or apartment hallways, narrow access doors, lack of maneuvering space), quality deficiencies caused by transportation and/or assembly by third parties. The customer bears full responsibility for incorrectly estimating the available spaces.

For optimum assembly conditions, the assembly space must be cleared before the crew arrival.
Should you request wall-mounting certain furniture pieces, please provide information on the wall structure. Wall-mounted pieces will not be installed on plaster cardboard walls. For kitchen furniture, assembly does not include electrical, gas, water connections, nor the fitting of household appliances in the furniture bodies.
Should delivery or assembly not be possible, due to customer’s faults (assembly space not cleared out, etc.), the customer will cover the expenses for a new shipment and a penalty charge in amount of 50 lei, and the delivery will be rescheduled depending on the deliveries schedules.
Should the customer choose not to install the furniture upon delivery, Elvila will not provide ulterior assembly services and takes no responsibility for assembly provided by third parties.
Depending upon the delivery method, the products will be delivered as follows:
- at the store warehouse, if the customer chooses to transport the products by his/her own means. Please confirm the correct number and content of packages – based on their labels - , and check their integrity, especially for fragile elements: glass doors, mirrors,etc. once the packages’ integrity has been confirmed and the delivery note signed, the customer has no other right to submit complaints related to the number and integrity of the products.
Should the products be delivered with the customer’s means of transportation, Elvila takes no responsibility for loading the products in the customer’s vehicle. Starting with the delivery and reception of the products (at the loading ramp or at the in-store/warehouse delivery point), by means of signing the delivery note, the property rights over the products are transferred to the customer, together with the obligation to load, independently, the products in the vehicle.
- at the customer’s headquarters/domicile, if the delivery is to be made by Elvila. The Elvila representatives will call you to set up the meeting. Following the assembly, please confirm the quantity and quality of the products, and mention, in the delivery papers drawn up with the delivery staff, any flaws you may notice.
Elvila strives to make the furniture buying experience an n extremely pleasant and easy one. We know how excited you are about receiving your new furniture and we work hard to make sure you receive your furniture in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event of an accident, please mention, in the delivery papers, any non-conformity you find related to the product you purchased. Within 24 hours of signing the delivery papers, the customer needs to visit the store where the purchase has been made and submit a complaint regarding the respective situation. Alternatively, you can submit online the complaint.
For all products manufactured by Elvila, the complaint will be solved within 15 days of submission.

The Elvila furniture can be purchased with both full payment or installments. After submitting the firm order, Elvila will issue a pro-forma invoice (which will be transmitted to the customer by e-mail or facsimile), based on which an advance payment must be made of at least 30% of the total invoice value; the balance will be paid before scheduling the delivery (orders still due –totally or partially- or out-of-stock at the delivering store will not be scheduled). After the receipt, by Elvila, of the full invoice value, and if the products are in-stock, the customer will be informed of the delivery date.

- by card at the pay-desk found within the Elvila store. Elvila accepts:
